Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one account

Use of the Service

Permitted Use

You may use BreedBase to:

  • Manage your dog breeding records and profiles
  • Connect with other breeders
  • Track health tests, pedigrees, and litter records
  • Upload and manage photos and videos of your dogs
  • Communicate with other users through our messaging system

Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information about dogs or breeding records
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or other accounts
  • Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the platform
  • Resell or redistribute the service without permission

Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to BreedBase. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, store, and display that content in connection with operating the service.

Content Standards

All content must be accurate, lawful, and not infringe on any third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards.

Subscriptions and Payments

  • Some features require a paid subscription
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Refunds are handled in accordance with our refund policy

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BreedBase shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.
